Published by
Hana Moll and Amanda Moll, juniors at Capital High in Washington representing Northwest Pole Vault Club, took the top two spots in the elite girls high school section with clearances of 14-8 (4.47m) and 14-2 (4.32m) at the UCS Spirit National Pole Vault Summit at the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center. The sisters produced the top two clearances by prep female athletes in event history and became the first high school girls to both clear at least 14-2 in the same indoor competition. Hana Moll improved her No. 2 all-time high school indoor and American Under-20 indoor marks and elevated to No. 13 in World Under-20 indoor history. Hana Moll's performance is also the second-best all-time indoor clearance in the world by a 16-year-old female vaulter. Amanda Moll improved on her indoor personal-best effort to equal the No. 8 indoor competitor in prep history. More videos |
