Cal Poly San Luis Obispo sophomore Mathis Bresko, competing unattached, won the top men's collegiate section with a first-attempt clearance at 16-4.75 (5.00m) at the UCS Spirit National Pole Vault Summit at the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center. Bresko, who attended Interlake High in Washington, was an unattached athlete because Cal Poly doesn't officially participate during the NCAA Division 1 indoor season.
