Brynn Kleinke, 11, a fifth-grader representing Willamette Connections Academy in Oregon, won the girls high school section No. 15 with a third-attempt clearance at a personal-best 10-8 (3.25m) at the UCS Spirit National Pole Vault Summit at the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center in Nevada. Kleinke also cleared 10-4 (3.15m) on her third attempt to edge Natalie Germanov of West High and Utah Pole Vault Academy.
