Jacob Wooten, competing unattached, took third in the men's global elite competition with a 19-0.75 (5.81m) clearance at the UCS Spirit National Pole Vault Summit at the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center. Wooten, a former Texas A&M All-American and the 2020 global elite champion with a 19-0.25 (5.80m) clearance, opened the year by clearing 19-1 (5.82m) on Jan. 1 at the EXPO Explosion in Belton, Texas.
