Sam Abati, a senior at San Antonio Reagan High in Texas representing Lone Star Pole Vaulting, finished second in the boys elite high school section with a third-attempt clearance at 17-0.25 (5.19m) at the UCS Spirit National Pole Vault Summit at the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center in Nevada.
